My name is Lorna and I live in Maryland. I am a transplant from Kentucky, where I spent most of my life up until two years ago. I am retired and this has given me plenty of time for reading, reviewing books, spending time with my friends, and my two very spoiled cats. I also love movies, lots of television(Vampire Diaries, Walking Dead, etc.) hanging out on Facebook, Twitter, GoodReads, and reading lots of book blogs. I recently started beta reading and that is really bringing out the editor in me that I didn’t even know existed.
My journey with paranormal books started with Stephen King and Anne Rice years ago. Then I quit reading paranormal for a long time. I was one of those people that wanted nothing to do with the Twilight books. I rented the first two movies and finally decided to read the first book. Within days I had read them all. I was hooked. From there I moved on to the Black Dagger Brotherhood books and now, Paranormal Romance, Urban Fantasy and Young Adult are my go to reads. My favorite indie authors are Amber Lynn Natusch, Dannika Dark, Karina Halle, J.T. Geissinger, and Samantha Towle, among so many others. Young Adult favorites are Cameo Renae, Amy Bartol and K.A. Tucker. As far as traditionally published authors, I like Lara Adrian, J.R.Ward, Jeaniene Frost, Keri Arthur and Karen Marie Moning, among others.
