What are you binge watching right now on Netflix, and why does it keep you glued to your couch?
OMG I am a TOTAL Netflix binge watcher! I love several series. House of Cards, Roswell, How To Get Away With Murder, The Office. Honestly it comes down to what captivates me. I love mystery, adventure, fantasy & romance. But I have a wide selection of different genres on my watchlist. If something captures my interest, I’ll follow along to see where it takes me.
When writing, do you save the best scenes for last, bang them out first, freeball it, or is chronological more your style?
Honestly, I tend to write in order. The only time I write a scene out of order, is when it won’t stop playing over and over in my head.
What’s your nerdiest guilty pleasure?
I collect magnets lol.
Is your SHADOW CREATURES series going to revolve around one heroine, or will Violet and Jade get their turn in the spotlight too? And. if so, how many installments can we expect each sister to get?
Such a great question! Violet and Jade will get their time in the sun too. But we will definitely be seeing more of Ivy.
Have you ever peeked at the ending of a book before you were even close to finishing it, and if yes, which one(s)?
No! I can’t! It hurts too much to miss out on the journey.
How has being a mom affected your career as an author?
It’s definitely pushed me to focus harder and be more organized. You really don’t have the option to ‘pull an all-nighter’ since your little one gets up early and needs you to be functional. Also, it’s made me shoot for bigger goals. I want to be a role model to follow your dreams.
The blurb of GRAVESTONES & WICKED BONES screams “read me”, but I noticed that you left out a few pertinent details such as the protagonist’s name, the exact locale of the story, etc. Is that part of your “evil writer” prerogative?
Haha! Yes, always! Although I did just give you the main heroines name above. 🙂 You do find out all of those details almost immediately when the book opens.
