by Kevin Hearne
Urban Fantasy

[learn_more caption=”Book Description”]The agents of Supernatural Protection & Investigations (SPI) know that fighting evil is a full-time job, especially when a new designer drug—with mind-blowing side effects—hits the streets…

I’m Makenna Fraser, seer for the SPI. And the collateral damage caused by Brimstone is something I’d like to unsee: dead drug dealers missing their hearts—and souls. Because your local pusher doesn’t stand a chance against the new cartel muscling its way into New York. And since the drug can only be produced with magic and molten brimstone fresh from Hell, that means a rift to the underworld is open somewhere in the city.

This week I had no preorders although Dark Days Club and Night Study are in my list of books to grab ASAP!
Lots of good looking ones this week! Kelley Armstrong = goodness! And I’m intrigued with The Dark Days Club too!
I had 3 pre-orders this week. Only 1 was really in the romance world 🙂
I posted the released of Mercury Striking today 🙂 got it from Netgalley and was going to read it last week when I read some reviews recommending I red the prequel first. So now waiting for it to get released at the library, two people ahead of me thought 🙁
Daniel Ark recently posted…New Release: Mercury Striking (The Scorpius Syndrome #1), by Rebecca Zanetti
some fabulous releases. I am pretty excited for Spider Game and Mercury Striking.
I’m playing catch up with Hearne’s series. I have a couple of Michele Bardsley books on my ereader to read. I didn’t realize she was still writing the series.
I wasn’t sure if Zanetti’s new book was paranormal or not. I have it on my list to try at some point along with Saintcrow.
