The only thing worse than being a Hunter in the fae-ridden city of Harborsmouth, is hunting vamps in Bruges.
Being shipped off to Belgium sucks. The medieval city of Bruges is quaint, but the local Hunters’ Guild is understaffed, the canals are choked with dead bodies, and there’s no shortage of supernatural predators as likely suspects.
On second thought, maybe Bruges isn’t so bad after all.
With a desire to prove herself, protect the innocent, and advance within the ranks of the Hunters’ Guild, Jenna Lehane hits the cobbled streets of Bruges with blades at the ready. Someone, or something, is murdering tourists and dumping their bodies in the city’s scenic canals. With the help of a mysterious stranger, Jenna begins to piece together clues that are dotted throughout the city like blood spatter.Determined to stop the killings, Jenna delves into a bloody local history that only raises more questions–but some secrets are best left buried. Jenna must put her combat training to the test as she struggles to unearth the truth about an ancient enemy.
The Hunters’ Guild series is an urban fantasy series written by E.J. Stevens and set in the world of Ivy Granger. The series is told in the first-person point-of-view of Jenna Lehane, a Hunter with a troubled past, a proficiency with weapons, and an intolerance for monsters who target the innocent.

What do you think of the cover?

The cover has a red head on it. As a redhead (well, bald one) that is always a good thing. Therefore, I like it.
I have a weakness for redheads too.
Cover is very good. It gives a nice European vibe with the background and the black dress is so great.
Gotta love a girl in a pretty dress!
I have loved her other books so I really need to try this one as well. I like the cover, kind of different.

Me too! I read the first three installments in her SPIRIT GUIDE series, and enjoyed them.
I love the colours of the cover 🙂 And the font works great with the whole feel of the cover… The artist did a great job!
I’m pretty sure that the author designed the cover herself if I’m not mistaken…
Even cooler!
For the cover i like the background but the character doesn’t really call to me./ However for once i find a story set in my country i ‘m really curious about it^^

Nice! That doesn’t happen to me very often either, so when it does I pretty much HAVE to read it.
I haven’t read any of her books but I really should. But I’m not that much into this cover…
I like the background, but the chick is a little too CGI for my tastes.
I love this cover. The medieval look of the buildings And I want that outfit she’s wearing.
The dress matches the overall look nicely.
The cover doesn’t make it look like an urban fantasy at all. Different…but that’s why I like it!

Different is good!
The cover is quite nice, I love the background! And I really like to hear that it is set somewhere else than US or UK, YAY for Belgium!!

It is indeed a nice change to travel to a fictional world that’s located outside of the US.
Magnifico! This is one for me!

I really like the cover. With the awful trend of cutting the faces off of cover models on covers of books, I’m always happy to see a face. The background is wonderful, love it.
I hadn’t heard of this author so thanks for introducing me to another author I think I’ll like.

Men’s heads tend to get cut off more so than women’s, but I agree that it’s a nice change of pace.
the cover seems to match the title
It does. That’s definitely a bonus.
Interesting cover, it looks like something off a game. Sounds like a book I’d enjoy though.

Now that you mention it, it really does!
I like the cover – I think it does a nice job of reflecting the world the book is set in.
