Author Bio

Mari Mancusi always wanted a dragon as a pet. Unfortunately the fire insurance premiums proved a bit too large and her house a bit too small–so she chose to write about them instead. Today she works as an award-winning young adult author and freelance television producer, for which she has won two Emmys.

When not writing about fanciful creatures of myth and legend, Mari enjoys goth clubbing, cosplay, snowboarding, watching cheesy (and scary) horror movies, and her favorite guilty pleasure—playing videogames. A graduate of Boston University, she lives in Austin, Texas with her husband Jacob, daughter Avalon, and their dog Mesquite.

First I want to say how much I like the egg – looks like scales :).
I love how protective dragons are. With the ability to breathe fire they are among the strongest of all paranorms :).

Hello….REALLY you want me to state what I love about Dragons!? Ok SCALES, lithe and sexy, dangerous….FIERY…smoking HOT HOT HOT…They can fly! Oh I seethe with jealousy. Let me just roll around for a second on the tile floor to cool down.

Ok to continue. They are such majestic and magical creatures and embody so much of what I love about Fantasy.

I think its time to turn this into a gushing blog rant…yeah snagging my comment LOL to say “Carmel asked what I loved about dragons…and I just couldn’t stop…

  4. Wow! That is a gorgeous cover. (Weren’t these books originally in the Shomi romance line like…7 years ago?)

I’m not sure what it is about dragons. They’ve been kind of my thing since I can remember. Perhaps it’s a bit that they’re like vampires… every culture seems to have a variation of them. 🙂

That’s a beautiful, beautiful, BEAUTIFUL cover. I think I stared at it for a good 5 minutes before scrolling down to the giveaway, haha. Well done, Ms. Author 🙂

As for dragons, like everyone else, they have this majestic aura. Like they are the kings of the skies, a gorgeous creature that’s a gift of the gods. Plus, they are also known to be wise! 🙂

I love how dragons can be different based on people’s interpretations of them and they are just really cool looking.
