I read Leigh Evans first book, but only liked it so-so and my GR status updates reflected that, then I was reamed out via e-mail by her publicist. I told them that initial thoughts don’t always reflect the end review, but this person was a real b*tch—haven’t read one of her books since.
Already read Killer Frost. I have Night Owls on my ereader from Netgalley and will get it read in the next week or so. I would have grabbed Undead Pool on audio but I’m not caught up on the series yet and I’m hoping my library will get it so I can save a credit.
Sounds like you’re on the ball as far as this week’s new releases are concerned.

The first and last week of the month are always the worst (busiest).
I had The Undead Pool on pre-order, so that arrived automatically to my kindle yesterday, and I’ve been lucky enough to read Night Owls already – really enjoyed that one.
There are so many series on there I haven’t even started yet, and I keep wishing I could have more time to read.
I know what you means; it’s impossible to keep up with every series, unfortunately.
I had Undead Pool on preorder. Whisper of Sin is 0.6? Would that be a good starter for that series do you think?
I’m not sure, I haven’t read any of Singh’s books.
