Everyone needs some ROMP in their life, in my opinion. I switch around a few genres, but most book I read have to include romance. There’s just nothing like romance to have me relate to the main characters. Below are some of my favorite ROMP books that always get me in a good mood.
1. Sweet and funny, with totally drool-worthy heroes!

Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton series is my favorite historical series! Her characters are always witty and the stories always so much fun!
Jill Shalvis – fantastic! Her Lucky Harbor series have in sighing like a high school girl and wishing I could be whisked away to Lucky Harbor and meet one of her delicious heroes.
2. Sassy, badass heroines whose will always collide with the hero’s
Kresley Cole’s Immortals After Dark – I know, the covers of the first few books are awful, but it’s gotten a lot better, and you can’t judge a book by its cover, right? I love how she pits the heroine against the hero in all her books, so the story is full of frustrating sexual tension!

3. Urban Fantasy – oh, yeah, it’s all about the ROMP!
I know, I know, I shouldn’t pick UF because that’s more STOMP, but let’s be honest, am I reading Night Huntress because of STOMP? Did I start reading it because of the awesome fight scenes? No! I read it out of love for Cat and Bones! Their romance has to be one of my favorites!
