I’ve been struggling to find a new weekly feature for the blog and have decided to give a top 5 list a try. I scour the internet daily for bookish news about my favourite series, authors and werewolves anyway so I figured that if you follow me, we probably have similar reading interests and I might as well turn by obsessive stalking into a post to help you guys stay in the loop (and to make me feel better).

Here’s what caught my eye this week:

1 & 2- Chloe Neill revealed the first chapter of her upcoming release, Biting Bad, the 8th installment in the Chicagoland Vampires series, out on August 6th. You can read it HERE. She also announced that Jeff & Fallon will be getting an e-special titled Howling for You scheduled to release sometime in January 2014.

3- Larissa Ione shared the latest cover in her Lords of Deliverance series, Reaver.

Reaver by Larissa Ione

WARRIOR OF HEAVEN

Reaver is an angel with a past, a record, and a less-than-heavenly attitude. Powerful enough to fight alongside the fiercest battle angels-and crazy enough to risk his wings on a one-way mission to hell-he’s agreed to go where no angel has ever gone before…to steal the most seductive and dangerous prize of Satan himself.

ANGEL OF HELL

Harvester is one of the Fallen, a once-heroic angel who sacrificed her wings to work as an undercover agent in hell. But now her cover has been blown, and she’s been doomed to an eternity of agonizing torture. Even if Reaver can snatch her away from Satan’s lair, even if they can fight their way out of the underworld’s darkest depths, there is one thing Harvester can never escape-her newfound thirst for an angel’s blood…

4- J.A. Belfield has a new trailer for her upcoming werewolf novel, Caged. The third installment in her Holloway Pack series comes out on August 5th.

5- Kate Bloomfield announced that Lone Girl will be the title of the sequel to her debut New Adult werewolf book, Alpha Girl, and will be available sometime later in 2013.

All in all, I think it was a pretty good week book-wise. Did I miss something big? Please feel free to share your top bookish news in the comments. 🙂

  1. I always love your new features. I’m not into book trailers. I don’t like them putting faces to my characters, my imagination is way better.
