My first read of 2013 was Crave the Darkness by Amanda Bonilla. I’ve been waiting for this once since last summer to find out what happens between Ty and Darian after the last novel’s brutal cliffhanger. Check back on Friday for an exclusive teaser of this fab book that’ll be hitting shelves on March 5th!

Even though these next two titles weren’t my first read of the year, they were still significant firsts in their own right. My first werewolf novel of 2013 was Katie Reus’ Mating Instinct and my first audiobook (which also happens to be a werewolf novel BTW) was Moonglow by Kristen Callihan.

I read ‘Pushing the Limits’ by Katie McGarry and loved it. Just got an ARC of the sequel from NetGalley so I’m truly happy. π
Happy 2013!!!
My first completed (started 12/31/12) was Cut & Run by Madeleine Urban, Abigail Roux(LOVED!).
My first started and completed in 2013 was Weekends Required by Sydney Landon.
My first audio that I started in 2013 was Tracking the Tempest by Nicole Peeler.
My first 2013 read was Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor, such an amazing book!
I’m reading Shadows of Penumbra by Margaret Alexander.
My first book of 2013 was Halfway To The Grave by Jeaniene Frost. It was amazing!! I can’t wait to read the next book.
The cover looks great (reminds me of Jeanine Frosts’) and the title is promising. I bet I would like it. My first read was Soul Walker by Robyn Jones. It was a great vampire story by a Self-Published YA author. Old Follower π Jaclyn @ JC’s Book Haven
I re-read Iced by KMM.
My first read was The Essence by Kimberly Derting. I’m a HUGE fan of hers so I was ecstatic when I got a copy in the mail from her publisher! It was really good too. Great question! π
@barmybex Nice! Getting a copy of a sequel you’ve been waiting for is such a good feeling; doubly so when it’s an ARC! π
@Jennifer TheBookNympho Haha I love that I’m not the only one who has subgroups of reading firsts for the new year.
@Diana_Dimovska I’ve heard super good things about that one plus the covers are gorgeous!
@emmameade.com Cool. That one’s new to me.
@Rose That’s a great series. You’ll be finished in no time!
@Jaclyn Canada I guess it kinda does look like a Frost cover. I hadn’t noticed before you pointed it out.
@Krista NICE! I read it and then listened to it on audio.
@Mandee Wyrick Don’t you just love getting surprises in the mail??
Alice in Zombieland, I started before before the end of the year, but the first book from beginning was The Darkest Hour by Maya Banks (audiobook) and my first read, The Weird Girls.
@Loupe Duffy Another blogger with subgroups. Love it!
My first read was Flesh and Bone by Jonathan Maberry. Loved it! Of course, I’ve read 11 more since then! π
