Hi, everyone! I want to thank RABID READS for having me today as part of my WARM UP YOUR WINTER BLOG TOUR. I created the tour with the hope that you might get to know my work, specifically my Guardians of Ascension, who are my most beloved winged vampire warriors. I know the covers have wings on them, but the books aren’t about angels AT ALL… just vampires…with wings. I also have goodies for you to win, details to follow!
In keeping with Rabid Reads holiday theme, I’ll be sharing my favorite holiday memory.
I LOVE the holidays and the truth is I don’t have just one favorite memory. I have a bunch of them because my family established a tradition that we repeated every year, each time wonderful!
Here’s the tradition: On Christmas Day, I would prepare the same brunch: pumpkin bread, bacon (crisp), a yogurt fruit salad, and a casserole made from Tater Tots, frozen broccoli, small ham cubes, cream of chicken soup, and cheddar cheese. My family LOVED it! Then we’d exchange presents and after I had the joy of seeing my kids open all their goodies, we’d head off to the movies to see whatever fabulous blockbuster was out that year. AND if that wasn’t enough, when we got home I’d prepare a complete holiday dinner with roast chicken, dressing, mashed potatoes and homemade gravy, cranberry relish, green beans, usually a salad to start, then pecan pie a la mode to finish. My DH, bless him, did all the dishes while I cooked and cooked and cooked.
Holidays are the best because it’s the time of year when we lavish our love on the most important people in our lives! I hope this season brings you the best memories ever!

I can’t wait until Gates of Rapture comes out! I know it’s going to be in my stocking 🙂 My favorite holiday memory is from when I was little. My parents, brother and I would all get together to decorate the Christmas tree with homemade ornaments. As we unwrapped each one we would tell the story of making it and discuss where the perfect place to put it on the tree would be.

My favorite holiday memory is probably the Christmas from two years ago, when my older sister finally decided to come visit during the holidays. It was nice to get to see everyone in my family together for once.

My favorite holiday memory is actually from Thanksgiving, but my senior year of college I got to march in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. It was long and tiring, but also amazing!

My favorite holiday memory would be the Christmas when my daughter was 3 and she decided she after every one opened their presents that she wanted to be the present. She went and got in a big box and pulled the ribbons and bows in with her and then pulled the top of the box closed.
Even though our kids are in college, every year my husband still writes their letters from Santa detailing their naughty or nice events from the year. They still look forward to these letters. One year, they wrote letters to Santa in Spanish and Italian, the languages they were learning in school!
I have heard the best stuff about this series. I just picked up the other five books! Can’t wait 🙂
