![]() Title: Blooded
|
Blooded does exactly what any prequel worth their salt is supposed to do: make you want to read the first book of the series. Amanda Carlson packs a staggering amount of awesomeness into a minimal amount of pages; just enough to give readers a taste of what’s to come and leave them thirsting for more.
I still barely know anything about Jessica but from what I’ve read, I do know that she’s my kind of girl! She cuts straight through the bull and fights with her fists instead of her words. Not the most “mature” way of dealing with problems but then again, she lives with a werewolf pack so what do you expect!? Add to that the fact that she’s overflowing with snark and I have my new favourite heroine. I really enjoyed this novella and have a feeling that I’ll enjoy Full Blooded even more.
This could be the start of my newest werewolf addiction!

Recommendation: | Short, sweet and tons of bang for your buck. You can’t go wrong with this action packed novella. |
Like this, like that: | The Mercedes Thompson series by Patricia Briggs, the Tales of an Urban Werewolf series by Karen MacInerney and the Kitty Norville series by Carrie Vaughn. |

I loved this book and it made me so much more excited for Full Blooded! I am actually going to have to read Full Blooded soon, I am too impatient to wait.
I still need to read this one, but it’s definitely on my TBR! Hope to get to it soon! This series definitely sounds like my kind of read 🙂
@Amber I @ Awesomesauce You have it and you haven’t read it yet? Your will power is stronger than mine!
@Amber Hughes It’s great, I hope you get to it soon. 🙂
@Carmel B The only reason I haven’t is because I am behind on my blog posts. Since Full Blooded doesn’t come out until September I have to wait. I only am like 2 days ahead on my blog right now. 🙁 its killing me!
Yay! I really loved this one as well like the first book. It was a beautiful surprise. glad you enjoyed it as much as I did.
this looks pretty good, I am always wary of novellas its so hard to develop a story in such a short amount of pages. thanks for the review. Carin
