Sue: I read the Unearthly books by Cynthia Hand, for my review here on Rabid Reads. Thankfully they were good books, because like a song, or meal, a memorable book will remind me of a time in my life. The Unearthly Books coincided with my first trip to Disneyland and Florida. I loved reading by the pool everyday! I plan on catching up with Sookie Stackhouse in September on a weekend getaway. I’m two books behind.

Carmel:This question couldn’t have come at a better time for me because I AM ON VACATION! I’m not feeling terribly adventurous, plus I have family visiting so I can’t completely neglect them; meaning it’s going to be business as usual for me. I’m trying to get caught up in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series so I’m hoping to read:

On a side note… I was quoted in Molly Harper’s newest release, The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires! How cool is THAT!? π

What about you?
What did you read or plan to read during your last/next vacation? |

Vacation is a bad word in our house something awful happens whenever we try to take one lol. I have started the Black Dagger Brotherhood while I am laid up with broken feet. Carin
Well I have a week off work from now and no plans to do anything out and about so this is now my Reading Vacation and I plan to read as many books as possible.
I have Slated by Teri Terry, The Selection by Kiera Cass, Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen, Moving In, Moving Out, Moving On by Kate Cann (trilogy), Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver, The Stuff of Nightmares by Malorie Blackman, The Joshua Files bk 1 by MG Harris, and I’ve got about 7 e-books for review that I’ve had for months so I hope to catch up on some of them. I hope I get most of those done. What do you think, too ambitious or just right?
@Stephanie G I didn’t do too badly. I read 2/3 of the books I wanted to.
It’s not my first quote but it never gets old. π
@Carin Same here… every time I plan something it blows up in my face so I usually just wing it. Things usually work out better when I do. π
@barmybex That’s super ambitious! How long is your vacation, like a month? π
The last time I went on vacation I tried to read the Cassie Palmer series by Karen Chance. I was so busy or tired the entire time that I hardly even looked at my Nook.
