Cover Love

The Rules: Choose a cover (or two, or three), preferably new-ish, and share what you like about it. Grab my graphic or don’t (just so long as you link back). I’ll be posting Cover Love every Monday but feel free to post yours on whatever day works best for you.

My Picks:

  Finale by Becca Fitzpatrick
Every single one of the covers in this series have been amazing and this one is no different!

I love the sense of movement, from the crashing waves, to the swirling wind, to the walking characters. Everything just feels so alive.

I’m a huge fan of the black and white. It’s simple yet stunning.

Nora is more certain than ever that she is in love with Patch. Fallen angel or no, he is the one for her. Her heritage and destiny may mean that they will always be enemies, but there is no turning her back on him. But now they face their biggest challenge. Can their love survive a seemingly insurmountable divide. And in the end, will there be enough trust left to rebuild what has been broken? The lines are drawn – but which sides are they on?
Unguarded by Ashley Robertson
At first I thought the girl was a mermaid until I read the blurb. Either way, love the dress!

I like the swooping font that was used for the title as well as the little squiggly thing underneath. Yes, that’s a technical term. s-q-u-i-g-g-l-y. lol

The background is beautiful and I love that it’s tinted purple!

Guardian angel Selene was so close to becoming an archangel—the supreme of all beings—until she fell in love with Cole, a forbidden dark one. Once she discovers her vampire lover has been kidnapped and the only way to save him is by abandoning her number one priority—Caitlyn, her human charge—there really is only one answer in Selene’s mind, even though leaving Caitlyn unguarded will most likely cause Selene to fall from grace.

But her choice to save Cole doesn’t come without a price…and now Selene is racing against time to not only save her dark lover, but find a way to keep Caitlyn alive as well.

With the help of a new vampire ally, Luke, Selene will push her diminishing angel abilities to the point where her very existence lies in the balance. Now threatened with the chance of becoming a fallen angel or even dying, Selene can only pray she’ll have enough time—and good grace—to save the ones she loves.

Lover At Last by J.R. Ward
Euum… yummy guy with his shirt open showing off his abs; what’s not to love!?

I like the details in the dagger. It looks badass.

The different colour eyes are amazing! I didn’t catch them at first so make sure you look closely!

  1. I love the Unguarded cover. I like the dress and the small waterfall.
For the Lover At Last, I like the eye colors. But he’s missing his tear tattoo and Blay is also missing *sniff*
