Sins of the Son by Linda Poitevin blog tour hosted by Parajunkee.com

Carmel, thank you so much for having me here today, and for offering to debut my latest book trailer, which is a little different from most. One of the things people enjoyed most at the launch party for Sins of the Angels last fall was my reading of an excerpt. They told me they loved hearing the story the way I heard it in my own head. I’ll be doing another reading for the Sins of the Son launch coming up in a couple of week–but as much as I wish all my readers could be there, logistically that’s just not possible. This video is my solution.

I’d come across the idea of video author readings a few times, but while the idea of sharing a part of my story in this way appealed, I couldn’t think of anything more boring for viewers than three or four minutes of a camera focused on me reading. Then my husband came up with the idea of setting the reading to a trailer-type format. My voice, but way more interesting imagery. I liked the idea–and I hope you will, too. 🙂

  10. I just started reading the Infernal Devices Series and I can’t pick between David and Will, although not sure they are angels in reality or not. Still great characters.
    Also like Biblical Gabriel.

  11. I don’t know of too many Angels.. being non-religious, I wouldn’t go for biblical, and I’ve not come across many fictional Angels.
    Hoping this will change that!

  12. My favourite angel would have to be the Archangel Gabriel because my late grandfater’s name was Gabriel. I think I’m more attracted to the name than the actual angel, being not too religious.

I will have to read more angel novels to find a fictional favourite. Awesome giveaway!
