The Kobo Vox | |
![]() |
Unlike my friends to the South, the Kindle Fire and the Nook are not options for me here in Canada. Amazon has recently made the other version of the Kindle available to us but I have no interest in buying “old tech” (I like to have the newest toys!). I already own a Kobo Wi Fi. The Vox has similar features as its US competition like social media and aps but I’m super excited about their “Pulse” feature. It allows you to share your thoughts on a book as you read by allowing you to “like” pages, tweet author quotes and more. The perfect tool for a book blogger IMO! But with a $200 price tag this will probably be a gift to-me-from-me. |

Wolf Photography / Coffee Table Book | |
![]() |
I’ve been browsing for a wolf book for a while now. The practical side of me knows that I just want it for the pretty pictures and that it’ll probably just sit on display most of the time but… That’s the whole point of a gift right? Getting something that’s a “treat”? |

Audio Books | |

I recently discovered audiobooks and I’m absolutely addicted! Unfortunately there aren’t any ARCs available for novels in this format so being a book blogger doesn’t work to my advantage at all in this case! I’m currently hooked Richelle Mead’s Georgina Kincaid series and Larissa Ione’s Demonica series. *hint hint* š |

Kelley Armstrong Limited Editions | ![]() ![]() ![]() I’m a HUGE Kelley Armstrong fan but there are a few of her “special” books that I don’t own. They’re available in eBook format but I’d love to have physical copies of all of her books. A few of them are even illustrated. Cool! |
That’s my list! My most coveted bookish wishes this year. Of course, the next book in a series that I’m currently reading or a GC also make for excellent gifts. I’m not picky! Can someone please forward this post to my boyfriend? š
What’s on your bookish wishlist? Please share, I might have missed something good!
About the Blogger
I review Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance books with a focus all things werewolf. Based out of Ottawa, Canada
Ahaha, Carmel! I wasn’t even that subtle. I’ve forwarded my wishlist in email to my husband š Doesn’t look like he’s done anything yet, but I’ll probably get 1 or 2 books from it if I’m really lucky :))
Here is mine (you probably read most of it anyway)

I want a Vox, too, Carmel! They’re so pretty, and I love the bit of colour they had, such a nice little touch. š
I actually have physical copies of Counterfeit Magic, and Becoming, and I have my copy of Hidden pre-ordered…can’t wait until it comes! I get them from Subterranean Press, that’s the publisher Kelley uses for them. And trust me, they are gorgeous! The only one I don’t have is Angelic, but they were long sold out before I started buying my books online. ;P
I have tonnes of books on my wishlist. I just showed my mom my Book depo one and let her pick some to get for me. I think it worked well. š Now, I just have to wait and see which ones she’s surprised me with! š
I asked my brother for a leatherbound copy of all of Edgar Alan Poe’s works. It’s gorgeous. Barnes and Noble has their leatherbound editions…you should check them out, see if there’s any that you’d love to have. š
I hope you get the lovely stuff on your list! š
@kara-karina@Nocturnal Book Reviews – His sister and mom follow my blog so I’m hoping that one of them will send him the link! š
@.Ambur. – Yeah, I left that one out because it’s impossible to get!
