Waiting on Wednesday
Hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spine

I finished reading Kindling the Moon recently and absolutely loved it! I’m eager for the next installment that’s scheduled to be published just in time for my birthday next year!

Summoning the Night cover

Magick. Murder. Mayhem. It’s all in a night’s work.

After narrowly escaping her fate as a sacrificial scapegoat, Arcadia Bell is back to normal. Or at least as ordinary as life can be for a renegade magician and owner of a tiki bar that caters to Earthbound demons. She’s gearing up for the busiest day of the year—Halloween—when a vengeful kidnapper paralyzes the community. The influential head of the local Hellfire Club taps Cady to track down the fiendish bogeyman, and now that she’s dating red-hot Lon Butler, the club’s wayward son, she can hardly say no.

Cady and Lon untangle a gruesome thirty-year trail of clues that points to danger for the club members’ children. But locating the person behind the terror will require some metaphysical help from Cady’s loyal bar patrons as well as her potent new Moonchild powers—and she’d better figure it out before the final victim disappears and her own darkest secret becomes her biggest enemy.

  1. Awesome pick! I really like the cover.

As for Saving June? We were lucky enough to read it on NG and OMG that book was amazing. I would say it is a MUST READ.

Thanks for stopping by Paranormal Wastelands:)

I have the first book in this series– like everything else I never have the time. But it looks like a series to watch. Good pick!

This is a new series for me, but from the summary, it sounds like an exciting and thrilling story! 🙂 I’ll have to check out the first book before I get to this one, and hopefully it’s as great as the second book. Thanks for sharing and for the heads up!

  4. I’m totally waiting for this one too! I loved Kindling the Moon. 🙂 That cover’s great, it’s just missing a little bit of Lon. O.O

  5. Oh this sounds like a book I would enjoy! I need something different from all the paranormal YA I’ve been reading lately.

  6. Magic. Demons. Mystery? Why haven’t I heard of these books before? Sounds awesome! I usually read more YA than anything, but it’s nice to branch out into the adult scene sometimes because there are some amazing books. Putting this series on my radar, thanks 🙂

  7. This one sounds great! I’ll have to keep this series in mind the next time I need an adult PR read. Thanks for pointing these out!

  8. Interesting pick. Don’t know yet if it is something I’d choose for myself though.

    Thanks for stopping by!
