This week I’m CRAZY about…

The aqua shirt really stands out compared to the rest of the colors.

The background looks pretty chaotic yet the chick is just casually hanging out, leaning against a dilapidated column

This cover has a bit of a tribal feel to it with the markings on the wall and the shadows that looks kinda like a ritual dance.

Summoning the Night

Magick. Murder. Mayhem. It’s all in a night’s work…

After narrowly escaping her fate as a sacrificial scapegoat, Arcadia Bell is back to normal. Or at least as ordinary as life can be for a renegade magician and owner of a tiki bar that caters to Earthbound demons. She’s gearing up for the busiest day of the year—Halloween—when a vengeful kidnapper paralyzes the community. The influential head of the local Hellfire Club taps Cady to track down the fiendish bogeyman, and now that she’s dating red-hot Lon Butler, the club’s wayward son, she can hardly say no.

Cady and Lon untangle a gruesome thirty-year trail of clues that points to danger for the club members’ children. But locating the person behind the terror will require some metaphysical help from Cady’s loyal bar patrons as well as her potent new Moonchild powers—and she’d better figure it out before the final victim disappears and her own darkest secret becomes her biggest enemy.

  1. Absolutely love this cover and the Egyptian feel to it! I loved the first and can’t wait to read this one! Thanks for sharing. 🙂

  2. You’re right, her shirt does stand out…so does that skull! She looks totally badass, doesn’t she? It’s interesting that she has the staff of Hermes in her hand. Is that a sign of something Greek involved?

  3. @Lori @ Romancing the Darkside – I haven’t gotten around to reading the first one yet but soon thanks to your giveaway! 🙂

@A Backwards Story – Not too sure if it’s Greek or as Lori said, Egyptian. Only one way to find out I guess!

@Demijel – Thanks for stopping by!

  4. @Addicted2Heroines – I wouldn’t know, Kindling Moon is on my TBR pile. Here’s hoping you’re right on both accounts!

@celine.olivia – No prob! Thanks for returning the visit! 🙂

@vykic37 – The orange is also appropriate for October with Halloween on the horizon! (even though it’s not releasing this month)
