This week I’m crazy about…
What I love:
This cover is incredibly simple but I still love it. The sliver of a moon against the dark sky. It appeals to the wolf lover in me. |

Nocturne by Christine Johnson is set to release on May 10, 2011. I haven’t read the first book, Claire de Lune yet, but it’s on my list! I found this cover over at Dark Faerie Tales. There are 27 new covers in her post, definitely worth checking out.
About the Blogger
I review Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance books with a focus all things werewolf. Based out of Ottawa, Canada
I didn’t especially like Claire de Lune, but I love the covers for both it and Nocturne– especially Nocturne. Maybe the sequel will be better. Anyway, cool pick!
This is a great cover, like you said simple but great!
@Kat – Oh no! I’ve been looking forward to Claire de Lune. I’ll have to check out your review.
@BooksforCompany – Great minds think alike! 😉
I’m in total agreement with you the simplicity makes this cover. I also like the color pattern: black, white and red. It totally reminds me of a cover which would have to do with vampires.
One aspect I’m curious about is why is the cresent moon tipped sideways?
Gina @ My Precious – It could be a cover for a vamp book but it’s not. This series is about werewolves, thus the moon and why I’m in love with it! 🙂
Morning, Carmel! I gave you an award on my blog this morning 🙂 http://fadeintofantasy.blogspot.com/2011/01/ive-been-honored-with-stylish-blogger.html
@Theresa @ Fade Into Fantasy – Thanks Theresa!
I haven’t read the first one yet either, but they both look good!
@Kelly aka yllektra(I Work For Books) – Agreed! Hopefully 2011 will be good to us reading-wise! 🙂
Oh my gosh! This is awesome. The simplicity of the cover is breath taking. I love the colors and the few graphics make bold statements. Nice choice!

@Andrea – I’m off to check out your choice. 🙂
