Top Ten Books I Hope Santa Brings

1
At Grave’s End by Jeaniene Frost:

This one should come as no surprise. Ever since I discovered this series I’ve been hooked and I have some catching up to do. I need to be ready for when This Side of the Grave comes out in February!

2
Waking the Witch by Kelley Armstrong

She’s one of my favorite authors so this book is definitely on my Santa wish list. I was waiting for the release of the paperback but now with my Kobo an eBook format is way more affordable.

3
Nightshade by Andrea Cremer

I’ve fallen victim to the hype surrounding this novel. I MUST read this book if not just for the werewolves and the beautiful cover art.

4
Flirt by Laurell K. Hamilton

I know many readers have a love/hate relationship with this series but I really enjoy it. I plan on seeing it through to the end!

5
My Soul to Save by Rachel Vincent

I LOVED the first installment of this series, not to mention the novella, Reaper. It’s rare that a YA series sucks me in like this one but then again it’s from one of my favorite authors. I should have known!

6
Blood Law by Jeannie Holmes

I stumbled across this series a few weeks ago and fell in love with the covers. I know that I shouldn’t judge a book by that alone but in this case it’s hard! Great reviews help as well!

7
13 to Life by Shannon Delany

I’ve read many glowing reviews on this book so I figure it’s worth my time. And again, I have a weakness for all things werewolf.

8
Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning

I’ve been told by many a book blogger that this series is a must read. This book is on my list and if Santa happens to send it my way all the better!

9
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead

This is another series that’s making it’s way around the bloggosphere. Hmm… from the looks of my list, it looks like I do sometimes fall victim to book hype. I denied it in a previous post. Oh well!

10
Laney by Joann I. Martin Sowles

A few of my Goodreads friends sent recommendations my way for this book. Apparently it’s a must. I’ll have to get back to you on that!

Unfortunately I don’t think Santa will be bringing me ANY books this year but there’s nothing wrong with buying myself a gift or two, is there?

  1. Vampire Academy is good. Darkfever is the beginning of one of the best series EVER! It will make you sweat, curse, cry, laugh, swoon and pull out your hair. A wonderful series. Oh, and of course the next Cat and Bones is a must. πŸ˜‰

  2. Aw! I don’t think Santa will be bringing any of the books on my list either!

You really do need to read the Fever & Vampire Academy series! They are great! I really enjoyed Nightshade too!

  3. I’m so excited to read 13 to Life and Vampire Academy. I’ll have to check out some of these others.
I’m on Blogger now, so your RSS feed has probably changed. Hope you’ll stop by the new place!

I hope Santa is good to you because you HAVE to read At Grave’s End and Destined for an Early Grave before Book 5 (This Side of the Grave) comes out this February! πŸ™‚

I have heard of the Darkfever series as well and need to check it out. Just started the Dark Lover (first of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series) I know late getting into it so I will see if it clicks for me. I won 3 ebooks on the Scanguards Vampires series by Tina Folsom so will be checking them out. Some classify them as paranormal erotica books so it should be a nice warm winter. πŸ˜€

  5. What books am I hoping to get from Santa?

    1. Hunger Games triology box set by Suzanne Collins
    2. Millennium/Girl with the Dragon Tattoo box set by Stieg Larsson
    3. Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
    4. Matched by Ally Condie
    5. Vampire Academy box set by Richelle Mead
    6. Of Thee I Sing by President Barack Obama
    7. The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot
    8. The Help by Kathryn Stockett
    9. Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks
    10. Strange Fate by L.J. Smith

  6. Nothing wrong with buying yourself some books πŸ™‚ I am addicted to the Anita Blake series although there are some I like better than others…I haven’t liked the shorter ones as much as the regular storyline. I think the next one is due out this summer. If you don’t follow Laurell K. Hamilton on Twitter you should. She tweets through her writing πŸ™‚

  7. @readerbuzz – Thanks! Now I won’t feel so guilty.

@Mariya – Okay! I will! You don’t have to convince me!

@Julie – Darkfever is on my list because of you! Don’t worry, I’ll get to it soon. πŸ˜›

@Natalie Mulford – Santa can only do so much I guess. Thanks for the feedback!

@Logan E. Turner – Welcome to the blogger world! I’m off to check yours out. πŸ™‚

@DarkBloodyVamp – Even if Santa is not good to me I will be buying Jeaniene’s books. Congrats on the free books!

@Tribute Books Mama – Thanks for sharing. You have some great books there!

@aussieinengland – Always happy to compare notes with another UF fan. Good to know you agree with my picks!

@Peppermint PH.D – Yay! Another supported of buying books for yourself for Xmas.

  8. Nightshade is a must..very good book.
Vampire academy OMG. if I recommend one series or book to people this is that series especially since the last book just came out you don’t have to sit and wonder a year or so whats gonna happen its all here.
13 to life also sounds like a good book!

  9. @Jenni Elyse – We’re two among many!

@Alletha – Hehe I’ll try my best but I don’t get my hopes up!

@AngelicNytmare – I’ll have to bump up Vampire Academy on my TBR list.
