My Reading / Blogging Resolutions for 2011

Posted December 30, 2010 by Carmel in / 20 Comments

1
I’m going to begin reading the Vampire Academy, Sookie Stackhouse, Darkest Powers and Fever series’.
2
Get less books from Amazon and more from places like NetGalley, authors and blog giveaways.
3
Have more posts with outside content from bloggers and authors (guest posts, interviews, etc).
4
To read more short stories and novellas in between novels to be able to post reviews more consistently even when I’m short on time.
5
Read/review a minimum of 100 books.

I think all of these are achievable. This is my first time making reading / blogging resolutions so I’ll see how it goes! I’m not doing a special post for the new year, but there will be a new review up on January 1st, Angelfire by Courtney Allison Moulton. Fantastic book BTW. Time to toast 2010 and cheer for 2011!

What about you, have any resolutions to share?

  1. Great list. I haven’t read the middle 2 series but have had the 1st Sookie book sitting on my dresser for a long time. I look forward to reading your blog in the coming year.

  2. Hi Carmel! Thank you for linking up. Great resolutions! I’ve been saying I will read the Sookie Stackhouse series, but alas, I haven’t done so yet. And the Vampire Academy is in the same class there. I need to get to both of those books. Hmmm, I might have to add that to my list.

Hope you have a wonderful New Year!

  3. I so agree with number one should have added that to mine, got so many series I need to read and all you listed as the same lol.

Good Luck with not buying on Amazon lol I have tried that one in the past can’t stop – another addiction.

Hope you have a very Happy New Year!

  4. @BooksforCompany – Very cool! No idea if I’ll hit 100. Life tends to get in the way sometimes but I’ll try.
