Don’t forget to grab my new button before you move on to your next stop on today’s hop! Also, Give me a shout out if you’re a new GFC or Twitter follower. I always follow back!

Rabid Reads

This week’s question:

What did you study in college, or are currently studying and did it lead to your current 9 to 5 or are you doing something totally different?

I’m currently studying part-time in Web Design. It didn’t lead to my current job but it didn’t hurt either. Social media content is one of my responsibilities. How could I say no to being on Twitter and Facebook at work?

  7. College – I initially majored in liberal arts, but after a year decided it wasn’t for me!! After taking a year off to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, I decided to get into business. I received my associates degree in business & software applications. After that I got my bachelors in Business & Technolgy. I would say that yes, what I went to school for does relate to my current job in Accounting. I practically live in an Excel spreadsheet, which I actually don’t mind. I love figuring out cool functions and formulas that help automate Bank reconciliations. Better yet, I love playing with Macros & Visual basic…drives the old-school accountants batty… I love it when they say, something can’t be automated, and then I get my hands on it and tadah!! Yeah, no need to say thanks, but I just made your job easier, old grumps!!! See how evil I am??? Lol!!!

  8. I would love to be paid to be on Twitter and Facebook at work. Instead, I just spend a lot of time there when I have nothing else to do. 😉

  9. Hey I’m a new follower who saw your feature on Parajunkee’s blog 😀

I’m really new to the blogging community but I hope to participate more soon!
Ps. Love your blog design :]

  10. Congrats on being the wonderful feature of the week. You did a pleasant post.

Oh me what a question this week.

I really think the characters are important. It makes me want to read the book if I want to know the characters. But a good plot with twists just makes it move along.

I just finished a degree in Biological Sciences and am still working on a degree in Humanities, History, and Religious Studies. What do I want to do when I grow up? I want to be the hottest historian on the history channel, national geographic, or discovery channel!

I’m launching a new reading challenge that you might be interested in, Morbid Romantica Challenge 2011.

Also today is the start of a Ridley’s Giveaway where you can win a Hardcover copy of either Beautiful Creatures or Beautiful Darkness.
