I’ve been book blogging for 2 months now so I figured that it was time to participate in my very first challenge. How exciting! The goal is to read at least 12 Young Adult or Middle Grade novels from authors that are making their debut in these genres in 2011.

Here’s my preliminary list:
- Angelfire by Courtney Allison Moulton
- The Iron Witch by Karen Mahoney
- The Demon Trapper’s Daughter by Jana Oliver
- Wake Unto Me by Lisa Cach
- Blood Magic by Tessa Gratton
- Jane Jones: Worst. Vampire. Ever. by Caissie St. Onge
- Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake
- Witch Eyes by Scott Tracey
- The Faerie Ring by Kiki Hamilton
- A Beautiful Dark by Jocelyn Davies
- Queen of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
- Hemlock by Kathleen Peacock

Hiya!
I think it’s a good list — sounds like it has a lot of fun reads, and I wish you the best of luck with it! I especially liked the title for Jones’ “Worst. Vampire. Ever.” 😉
Cheers,
Darkeva
thanks so much for joining the challenge!! happy reading and good luck!
There are so many awesome looking books that are going to be released next year that I am having a very hard time narrowing down my list! Most of your picks would make my list, and about 50 other books!

Ooh! Can’t wait to read Queen of Glass too!:D
I haven’t even looked at books being released in Canada or overseas yet. So hard to choose!
i’d love to participate in the challenge but right now things are crazy at work and at home and even time for reading is an issue at home!
btw, thanks for visiting my blog. nice design – reminds me to continue reading Anita Blake – some werewolf issues going on in book 8.

Thank you so much for adding QUEEN OF GLASS to your list! I hope you enjoy it!!!!
It was so hard to pick just 12 but I didn’t want to be too ambitious. I’m sure I’ll add more as 2011 progresses.
Thanks so much for adding WITCH EYES. I hope you enjoy.
Also, I love your blog layout. 🙂
Scott Tracey – My pleasure. I’m looking forward to reading it. Thanks for stopping by!
