Hi, I’m Muriel, misbegotten daughter of Satan, and once again, my life is in turmoil. The cowled one who tortured me left a curse on my mind, one that makes me afraid. Completely unacceptable, but in order to remove it, I have to do something even worse—betray my beloved by bringing another man into our bed.
As if having to participate in a threesome isn’t traumatizing enough, Hell has frozen over, and as much as I think Hades looks pretty in a blanket of white, the repercussions are severe. It’s a good thing this princess of Hell has two lovers determined to charge my magic in pleasurable ways.
I'll admit it's not easy having nympho magic, but I’m prepared to suck it up—and swallow—for the sake of saving the world.Warning: The following is a very adult urban fantasy containing sexual scenes, violence and twisted situations that some people might find offensive. Reader discretion is advised.

Muriel is now out as the daughter of Lucifer. People are trying to assassinate her. Auric, a fallen angel and her lover, is getting even more protective of her. They aren’t even seeing that much of dear ‘ol Dad because he has his hands full dealing with tracking down these factions down in Hell. There is also the ramifications of the torture that Muriel endured in the first book. It is giving her horrible nightmares and making it difficult to fight.
When Muriel finds out that there is a curse on her that is causing her fear to be worse than it should be, she balks at the solution. See, Muriel gets her power from sex. She needs much more power than Auric can give her to break this spell. Muriel really wants to be faithful to Auric. It takes a lot of coercion for Auric to convince Muriel to bring in his best friend and cat shifter, David.
Oh, on top of this issue, Hell freezes over. It is quite a funny scene when Lucifer shows up at Muriel’s apartment in a red parka, to which she really makes fun of him. Here’s the problem with Hell freezing over; everyone who made a promise about “When Hell freezes over” are now going to have to fulfill that promise. You would think this is something that Lucifer would want, with the chaos and all, but the amount of paperwork would cut into his golf game, and we can’t have that.
I really enjoyed this addition to the story. I loved how Eve brought David into the relationship. It wasn’t just add another man and go have sex. There were a lot of thoughts and emotions from all three of the players. This story is told from Muriel’s POV, so we only get it from her side, but you can see how she responds to the two male’s reactions to the situation.
This was another great installment in this series. I’ll be reading Hell’s Revenge very soon, though not too soon. I’m trying to spread the books out a bit because I don’t want too big of gap between the last book I have and the new release, which doesn’t come out until early February.
“Keeping you safe isn’t treating you like a child. I’d say it shows foresight and care on his part.”
“It’s annoying.”
“Suck it up, princess.”
Had David really said that to me? Judging by the smirk on his lips and twinkle in his eyes, yes. Jerk.
Only one thing to do. I stuck my tongue out him. Treat me like a child and I’d act like one. He might have one the first round, but I wasn’t done yet. I’d nag him again later. Eventually I’d get my way. Just ask my dad. I rocked at getting what I wanted.

I love Muriel, Melanie, and now you got me wanting to read Snowballs in Hell… I bet Satan looked a little Santa-like in his red parka and that image just won’t leave my head.
I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!
I hope you’re having a great weekend too. I thought the same thing. I just love this series and the spinoff with Welcome to Hell series. Well, I just love Eve and all her work.

So many of her books I have yet to read. 🙂
I feel the same way. And she writes them so fast. It seems like she adds them as fast as I read them.

I’ve not had the pleasure of trying this series yet, but I do have it and many others of Eve Langlais on my TBR. Wonderful review!

I’ve been seeing this series around and it does look really good.
This is still one of my favorite series by Eve Langlais. I just love Lucifer. He is hilarious.

I’ve read a few of her stories with menage relationships and I like how she takes the time on creating an actual triad relationship.
Oh man, Lucifer is a crack up. Scenes just grow brighter when he’s in them.
I’ve read a few, but not many by her. I think there was the ones I read in Freakin’ Shifters and this one. I think those are the only ones I’ve read by Eve. I really like how she handled them.

Oh boy. I’m a little wary of that “Muriel really wants to remain faithful to Auric”. I sense a love triangle dynamic is in the horizon.
This story ends with a menage, so not a love triangle. She just ends up with multiple lovers. Her powers come from sex, so she needed more power and one partner wasn’t enough. I don’t read a lot of menage stories, but this one is done really well, IMO.

This sounds like all kinds of fun. Hell freezing over and the daughter of Lucifer in the same book really sounds good. I was caught first by the title and then your review. Loved the review.
Thanks Mary. Muriel is a great character. I just love her to pieces. I hope you enjoy.

It was funny to see Lucifer’s reaction to Hell freezing over. He was so worried that it would cut into he golf time. You never know what you’re going to get with Eve’s Lucifer.

I am usually not a fan of books with angels and demons, but this one does sound fun and I like the title. And hells freezes over, literally? that sounds like it would make for an interesting story! I like the sound of how the relationships between the 3 characters is handled with all the emotions. Great review! I might have to check out the first book.

This is a great series. Lucifer’s daughter drives him crazy because she isn’t evil enough. She was a straight A student and a virgin until she was 23(I think). Lucifer is my favorite character. He is a blast to read. I hope you enjoy the books.
