Ha! My total is nothing compared to Jennifer, Loupe & Felicia’s, but I do what I can.
I did really well but I tracked horribly LOL
WTG C! π

Thanks! I tracked via GoodReads which was surprisingly easy.
That’s my girl!! Great job Carmel, I see some I haven’t listen to yet. I’d have to check with you before I buy them, like Poltergeist..I’d love to hear your opinion.
Great job girl!!

I managed to impress even myself this year. Hehe! I posted my review of Poltergeist a while back; I wasn’t a fan, but I’m not sure if it was the narration or the writing. I plan on reading the next installment to see if it makes a difference.
Thanks for the theme love! π
Thank goodness for audiobooks or I wouldn’t have made my goal this year! I went a little nuts and last time I checked I think I had listened to 70 audiobooks.
I need to do my wrap up post too π
Nereyda recently posted…Audiobook Review: Maybe Not by Colleen Hoover!
I still managed to read 77, but audios were a huge help vis-Γ -vis my TBR and someday piles.
Wow congratulations on getting all those books read/listened too! That is awesome!!

Not too shabby, eh? I didn’t expect to hit the top level, but I’ll take it!
You have a great list. I’m so glad to see some of my favorites, including SEXY SCOTTISH WEREWOLVES. I’m even taking recommendations from you now too. π
Melanie recently posted…Paranormal New Releases: December 9th
Wait until you see my 2015 goals, IAD is going to DOMINATE that list. I’m psyched that you started Poison Princess; the first-half was a little too YA for me, but it really picks up in the 2nd.
Great job! I am still a newbie… but I am actually in the middle of two audios as we speak π

Nice! I didn’t realize that you’d started listening too. They are great for long road trips.
Amazing! I just listened to my first audio book this past August and did two more. I’m getting the gist of it. Did you end up having a favorite reader in that bunch you listed? I love all those authors and was just curious if listening to their books would be cool too.
I already like Davina Porter, Diana Gabaldon’s reader.

Audiobooks definitely take some getting used to, but once you figure out what works for you, you’ll be hooked. A few of my favourite narrators include: Lauren Fortgang, Luke Daniels, Lorelei King, Renee Raudman & Robert Petkoff. Porter is fantastic too, although Gabaldon’s books are too long for me to listen to. 10-ish hours is my sweet spot.
Congrats!!! You have read some good audiobooks!

Congrats Carmel! Glad you enjoy audiobooks so much π

Oh my, Carmel, you totally did kill this challenge! I want to listen to more audiobooks next year. I own quite a few, so I just need to get more used to it, I guess.
I’m gonna check out your favorite narrators more than anything else π
Happy reading (and listening) π

I wasn’t overly optimistic when I first signed-up, but I’m thrilled with my final results. I used to be a reluctant audiobook listener too, however a great narrator can make a world of difference.
You did an awesome job. Congratulations!

WOW! You really knocked it out of the park Carmel, way to go!

I did GOOD! π
Wow you freaking KILLED it indeed! I am totally going to sign up this coming year. I don’t know how many I listened to in 2014 – I think the beginner level. I’ll have to do a end of year wrap up and put it in there how many I made it through so I can guage what level I think I can do in 2015.

I have wedding planning to thank for this; audiobooks were a great de-stressor, not sure I’ll do as well in 2015. There’s nothing wrong with aiming for the bottom tier, you have to start somewhere!
Finally got here! Whew!!
I still can’t do audio, gives me a bad case of idle hands. Good job lady!!
Braine recently posted…Loved It: City of Eternal Night by Kristen Painter
Thanks for persevering! LOL Then do stuff like clean the house while listening. That’s what I do.
Whoa, lady! You owned this challenge! Well done. I am getting the hang of this audiobook as well. Mostly, I look at my shelves and download anything that’s a doorstopper. Faster to go them that way. π
Good luck, hun. I’m sure you got this!

TY! I think the sign-up post goes live next week, so stay tuned.
You have some great books on that list. I see that you listened to one of the Outlander books. Was it any good? I think this might be one of those series that I will have to get on audio in order to have time for.
Judy recently posted…@TastyBookTours Review: Running Hot by HelenKay Dimon
I read all of the previous installments, this was my first experience with Outlander in audio, and the narrator was amazing. I highly recommend her, but make sure you have LOTS of free time.
Great job! You and I were pretty close – I just looked at my goodreads shelf, where I mark down my audiobooks. I’ve listened to 49 this year! I’m definitely signing up next year.
Mogsy recently posted…Book Review: City of Eternal Night by Kristen Painter

Wow nice! Looks like you totally killed it this year, Carmel π

I only sign-up for challenges that I can easily complete cuz I hate failing. LOL!
I am definitely not an audiobook person (I tend to fall asleep) but your list seriously blows my mind. Great job!! I wish I could have the patience/attention span to sit through audiobooks. π I will give them a go one day in the future!!

A lot of the apps come with timers; it’s a great feature for when you’re listening before bed. I’ve been known to burn through an entire audiobook in my sleep without ’em. Hehe!
Wow! That was quite the achievement! Congratulations!
Thank you! 2015 here I come!
You did great!!! I think I’ll sign up for this one next year since I’m starting to listen to more audios
Excellent! According to the GR group, sign-ups open on Dec 17th.
Congratulations Carmel! that’s impressive. I struggle with audio books at times so only made it through 4 π

Thanks! As a general rule, I avoid most challenges because tracking ’em is a b*tch, but this one was a breeze.
Woot! Nice job! I need to do my wrap up still – I’m realm slacking on my challenges lately – but I’m pretty sure I’m at about the same level as you! So many good ones too – some I’ve read, most I still need to. Looking forward to getting even more in next year.
Berls recently posted…The Barefoot Queen by Ildefonso Falcones
I only participated in the one 2014 challenge, so if I wasn’t able to deliver my wrap-up post, that’d give a whole new meaning to slacking. LOL!
lol congrats on my precious level of listening! I really should try audiobooks again. I doubt I’d get as many listened to as you did though, wow. I always listened to them in the car, because I can’t just sit still and listen. (Same with tv.)
Molly Mortensen recently posted…Angelfall and World After by Susan Ee
I usually listen while washing dishes, playing Candy Crush, etc. I rarely focus 100% on an audiobook. Busy hands and all that. π
Wow – 46 and counting!! Congratulations are in order, you nailed it for sure. I’m hoping to sign up for the 2015 challenge, who knows maybe I can work up to the Stenographer (I can listen while multi-tasking AKA cleaning house and chauffeuring kids) lol. Great job : )
Kim { Book Swoon } recently posted…Adult Book Review: Tempted by a Rogue Prince by Felicity Heaton
I try to do one a week, but the longer ones can take up to two. I haven’t been feeling ’em much lately though, so I dunno if I’m going to make it past 46. Oh well!
Can’t say I’m surprised that you made it to the top ‘level’ of your audiobook challenge – you’re like the audio queen! Looks like you had some truly quality listens, too: Amanda Ronconi and Renee Raudman are two of my favourite narrators. What did you think of Cassandra Morris?
Danya recently posted…Graphic Novel Reviews: Anya’s Ghost & Through The Woods
A new level has been added for 2015, and it’s 50+, not sure I’ll be able to hit that one. I’m a few shy this year, so we’ll see. I liked Cassandra Morris’ narration of Armstrong’s YA series, although as the heroine matured her voice did not.
I’ll have to checkout some of the audiobooks you listened to this year!
Congrats on reaching the ‘My Precious’ level this year!! I made the ‘My Precious’ level too in the 2014 Audiobook Challenge. I never thought I’d reach it, but was amazed to reach 48 listens for the year.
