Last week I began the daunting task of finding a new associate reviewer after Josh announced that he’d be leaving the blog at the end of February in order to pursue his teaching career. I was shocked (and a little flattered) by the amount of applications I received; there were several strong contenders who I’m currently putting through the wringer but there was one submission that was impossible to ignore. This woman is a machine! Her ability to read/review practically a book a day, and to turn-around content at a moment’s notice immediately got my attention, plus her GoodReads shelves are comparable to my own so I knew right away that I’d found a kindred spirit. Allow me to introduce Jessica! I hope you all will welcome her with open arms!

Hey guys! My name is Jessica, and I live in Chattanooga, TN. I cannot tell you excited I am to join Carmel at her fantabulous blog.




Ever since I joined Goodreads, I’ve wondered how to go about getting involved with a blog like this because seriously, reading is my hobby–like my only hobby. Maybe 10% of my free time is used on things other than reading. When I got the invite, I literally leapt up (from where I had been reading) and did an Indian Rain/Happy dance.




So yeah. I’m excited.
