First off, I would like to thank Carmel for inviting me to hang out with you all today. And secondly, I want to say how excited I am about the release of BLOOD VOW, the third book in the crazy roller coaster ride known as the Blood Moon Rising trilogy! I know many of you love to hate me because of those cliff hangers in BLOOD LAW and BLOODRIGHT, but you know you love me. ^_~ I mean seriously, there has been nothing hum drum or predictable when it comes to Rafael Vulkasin, Lucien Mondragon and Falon Corbet. The one thing you can expect with these three is the unexpected. I loved every tumultuous minute writing their story.
But turning in BLOOD VOW was especially emotional because I have lived and breathed Rafael, Falon and Lucien for three years. I’ve been there through their joys, their self-discovery, their pain, their sorrow and their love. I’ve watched them suffer more in the span of three months then a city full of people do in ten life times. They became people I know, people I regularly hung out with, and people I truly cared about. It was hard to say goodbye. :`(
In fact, I haven’t really said goodbye, I left the door open for emerging characters to have their own stories down the road. I wasn’t ready to let go, so I created a way to revisit my old friends. It wasn’t purely self-indulgent selfishness on my part, I did it for you too. How could I not when you have given me so much? You are the reason I get to do what I love to do most: write mad passionate crazy love stories. Thank you for that.
Thank you for stopping by, and thank you again Carmel for inviting me to hang out. Oh, and if you haven’t friended me yet on fb, please do! www.facebook.com/karintabkeauthor

For a long time, controlled chaos ruled Karin’s life. Busy mother of four, owner of her own successful business and wife to a street cop, she harbored thoughts of twisting plots and hot romantic scenes. Now, with only one child left at home and hubby retired from law enforcement, Karin happily pounds out those steamy scenes at her keyboard.
Still semi-distracted by her adult children (Yay! no more phone calls from the high school!) and her husband now a successful football coach (Yay! No more worrying when he’s out on the street!), Karin turns out stories about hot cops, bold knights, bad boy werewolves, and the women who bring them to their knees. |
A full-time writer, Karin draws on a lifetime of stories and backdrops that few outside of the law enforcement community ever see, let alone hear about. Controlled chaos now reins supreme through the pages she writes where hot heroes serve, protect, and pleasure from page one to The End.
Karin also writes paranormal romantic suspense as Karin Harlow. |
As a token of my thanks for all of your support not only with the Blood Moon Rising trilogy, but your support from the very beginning, I am happy to give away a signed copy of BLOOD LAW and BLOODRIGHT, as well as a copy of BLOOD VOW (BLOOD VOW will come from my publisher and I’ll send you a signed bookplate) to three randomly selected commenters. All you have to do to be eligible to win a copy of one of the above mentioned books is to tell me what series you are most thankful for this year. 🙂
