The Rules: Choose a cover (or two, or three), preferably new-ish, and share what you like about it. Grab my graphic or don’t (just so long as you link back). I’ll be posting Cover Love every Monday but feel free to post yours on whatever day works best for you.

I recently discovered PhatPuppy Art. Isn’t this cover just absolutely stunning?
The staff and tattoo are fab. I mean c’mon! They glow; what’s not to like?
Love her eye make-up and hair! If only it were cool to walk around in public like this. |
Uriel Airel Saga #3 by Aaron Patterson & Chris White February 28, 2013
  |
Uriel.
All she wanted was to live her own life…
When heroes start to tell lies, even to themselves: Uriel. She’s spent thousands of years fighting against her destiny, fighting against her bereaved father, against El Himself.
“It’s just one letter, but it’s my letter, father…”
Once more, we see how the evil deeds of the past play out in the following generations, and with grave consequences—and startling revelations.
Betrayal, deceit, and murder are unavoidable in Uriel, Book 3 of the Airel saga. |

The girl gives off a Lara Croft à la Angelina Jolie vibe. I like!
The bigass title really stands out (in a good way) on this simple cover.
The color scheme is nice. I’m not usually a big fan of yellow but in this instance it works. |
Rise Nightshade Prequel #2 by Andrea Cremer January 2013

I think this is my fav cover of this series so far.
Kat looks like she’s ready to kick some serious butt. I like the artist’s model choice.
I like the seance-type thing in the corner with the stars and candles. It’s mysterious. |
Blessed by a Demon’s Mark Kat Redding, #3 by E.S. Moore January, 2013
  |
In a job like this, there’s no retirement plan.
Kat Redding’s life is dangerous enough when she’s hunting the rogue vampires who prey on Pureblood humans. But now that Kat is thinking of getting out of the killing business, she’s faced with a slew of new problems. Like the demon Beligral, who offers help at an escalating cost, and the werewolf cult with whom she’s entwined professionally and personally. And then there’s Countess Baset—the terrifying vampire who wants Kat to become her personal assassin.
It’s no wonder that Kat has been seeking refuge in the mysterious town known as Delai, a place where she can shed her Lady Death persona and live a life that’s as close to normal as she’s ever known. But even in this haven, something feels askew. Delai is a little tooserene. And the more she discovers, the more Kat realizes that the only choice left to her is not whether to do battle, but which side she’ll risk her life to defend… |

I love that first cover Uriel. I mean they are all awesome but that one just stands out. I love it!
Great picks! Uriel and Rise are gorgeous.
I really love the cover of Rise, I agree I am not a big fan of yellow either, but with the dark contrasts of the other colors it really works. I haven’t read an Andrea Cremer book, but i will have to look into them. Great picks! 🙂
@Amber I @ Awesomesauce I know!! Click on the link to the artist’s gallery. You’ll be drooling in no time!
@Addicted2Heroines Agreed! 🙂
@Liz I’m a huge fan of her Nightshade series and I’m hoping that these spin-offs will be just as good!
