Chrystal is an awesome blogger and one of the few whom I’ve actually met! She’s not an Ottawa-area native but she is a die hard reader and, as a result, takes the occasional road trip to the capital to attend bookish events. I met her last October when a group of us got together for the Smart Chicks Kick It Tour. We hit it off instantly because, for one, she’s in my age-bracket (*gasp*) and two, she doesn’t read just YA. I’m still trying to convince her to make the drive again in April to attend Linda Poitevin’s launch of Sins of the Son.
Snowdrop Dreams of Books has a great page of bookish Canadian events. It’s regularly updated and saves me from having to spend hours on the web searching for local happenings. Chrystal is also about to launch her Romance Week blogging event. This is the second year that she’s cohosting it with Stitch Read Cook so stay tuned for tons of great author interviews and giveaways!

I love her blog design. I keep meaning to ask her if she did it herself. Maybe she’ll check out this post and let me know. 😉 Chrystal is super organized and there’s not a thing out of place on her site. It’s constantly being updated and I can always find what I’m looking for in mere seconds which is great! So, if you haven’t come across Snowdrop Dreams of Books yet during your web browsing you really should go take a look!
Posts I checked out this week:
- Deserted Island: Erika from Suddenly Books and One A Day YA
- Spotlight & Giveaway! Warriors for Light Series by LJ DeLeon
- Review: The Mers by Ami Blackwelder

Such a great post!! Chrystal is awesome (but I’m a bit biased since we’re BFF’s)
I didn’t know you had ‘holler at a blogger’. I do a blog of the week spotlight, that is similar, on Saturdays. I guess Canadian brains think alike. I’m definitely going to check out Snowdrop Dreams of Books.
Aww thank you so much! I had no idea you posted about my blog today until I started receiving all kinds of tweets on my cell phone today. 🙂 I hope to see you in April!
What a great post and on a great blogger. I have been a follower of Chrystal’s blog for quite some time and always amazed at how well organized it is.
I forgot to answer your one question… I did make the design and the graphics on my blog. 🙂 I’m glad you like them.
@Aislynn Thompson LOL 😛
@Dana – Let’s Book It I’ll have to check out your feature on Saturday.
