I’m very happy with my new “minimize reading Young Adult fiction” rule. I find that I’m enjoying my reading a lot more now that I’m no longer stuck constantly reading about high school. I’m finally getting around to starting a few Urban Fantasy series that I kept putting off. Not surprisingly, my reading speed has increased quite a bit as well. Coincidence? I think not!
As you can see from the books below; there’s only one YA novel. Yay me! I couldn’t pass up Soul Thief because I adored The Demon Trapper’s Daughter. I’m psyched about Rachel Vincent and Keri Arthur’s new books. They’re two of my most favorite authors in the world!

So many awesome new books! And that might be a rule I need to follow myself, Carmel, though I love YA lit. It’s nice to read the books not geared towards high schoolers. 🙂 I’m really eager to read Blood Bound and I know from both my former roommates that Moon Called is a great series starter. @DJL – It takes quite a bit of will power to resist all of the pretty YA covers but I think that it’s worth it in the long run.
I actually bought Moon Called at a thrift store awhile ago for like, 50 cents hahah. I’ve yet to read it though! Can’t wait to see what you think!
