Happy Friday everyone! Unfortunately I don’t get a weekend this week as I’ll be working straight through but hopefully you will make the best of yours. Don’t feel sorry for me, check out my Tidbit Thursday feature if you want the scoop as to what I’ll be doing. Have a great weekend and Happy Halloween!

This week’s questions:

What is the one bookish thing you would love to have, no matter what the cost?

I really want an eReader but they’re a little costly and I’m still not entirely convinced that I would enjoy reading books on one.

If you have or would have a daughter, what book would you want your daughter to read?

Dr. Seuss of course! I’m 28 and still love his books. I loved Anne of Green Gables growing up too.

  1. Happy Halloween!

I’m here for the blog hop and Follow Friday! I just love these. Answer for the Hop is an IPad or Kindle. Answer for the Follow Friday is: The books I would chose would be Dr. Suess’ when she was young then as she grew older I would definitely recommend the Nancy Drew and Trixie Beldon books! I loved them when I was young. Here my links and you can find me on facebook too!

  2. hi there! I’m just stopping by from the hop (already following). I’m old fashioned, I like having books. I want my own library full of hardbacks of all the books I love! If I had a daughter, I’d want her to read stories that have a good female lead character that would be a good role model.

    have a great weekend!

  3. Kt

I have a kindle, and I have to say it is hands down the best purchase I have ever made. It goes with me everywhere, and so does my library. I love being able to purchase books any time, any place. Make sure to check out my 200 followers giveaway!
I hope you have a great weekend!!
    A Book Obsession..

  4. Great choices of books! I love reading Dr. Seuss to my kids! I’m very excited to read Anne of Green Gables with her, or have her read it once she’s more grown, as well.
Thanks for hopping by! I’m a new follower of yours as well! Yur blog looks great and I love the background!

  5. I love the Anne books. I’ve never been a Dr. Seuss fan though. The only book of his I really love is the Butter Battle Book, but that’s more of a book for adults since it’s about nuclear war. Kids won’t really get it in the way adults would.
I’ll be a new follower in a sec.

  6. I keep telling myself that I want an ereader too, and I’ve even picked out the one I want (Libre ereader) but I honestly don’t think I’d use it all that often. I love having the actual books.

Anywho, thanks for stopping by my blog. I’m following back 🙂

  7. Thanks for stopping by my blog! I’m also not convinced that ereaders are equal to books, particularly since you can’t lend your books out to anyone you want or buy discounted books second-hand. But everyone that has them seems to love them.
I love Anne of Green Gables as well! I’ve been meaning to reread it one of these days.

  8. I’m a new follower *waves* nice to meet you!!! You’re almost to 100!!!

I love the questions! I would definitely be with you on the Dr. Seuss! Always classics… as is Roald Dahl books!

  9. I felt the same way about eReaders at first, but I love my Nook now! It’s so cool having all my books at my fingertips! It saves shelf space and I don’t have to take 50 different books with me when I leave the house or go on vacation (me, overdo it? never ;-)) It’s great!

Oo and I love Anne of Green Gables too! Such classics =)
